Our Purpose
Shamase Industrial Psychologists exists to make rigorous, ethical psychological practice accessible across the contexts where it is needed most. We work at the intersection of law, work, and human behaviour — providing medico-legal assessments that inform just outcomes, psychometric assessments that support sound people decisions, and wellbeing interventions that help individuals and organisations thrive.
Whatever the context, the standard is the same: evidence-based, independent, and genuinely committed to the people involved.
About
Shamase Industrial Psychologists was founded on a deep conviction that psychological science, applied with rigour and integrity, can serve both individuals and organisations at their most critical moments — whether in a courtroom, a boardroom, or the workplace.
Londeka holds a Master of Philosophy in Industrial Psychology from the University of Johannesburg, and undergraduate qualifications in Industrial Psychology and Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her academic grounding is matched by a genuine passion for understanding human behaviour as it relates to work — how people perform, adapt, and recover across the full arc of a career.
She is a registered member of the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology of South Africa (SIOPSA) and the South African Medico-Legal Association (SAMLA), and holds registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Industrial Psychologist (PS 0153273).
“Whether I am writing a psycho/medico-legal report, assessing a candidate, or working with a team — the standard is the same: evidence, objectivity, and a genuine commitment to the person in front of me.”— Londeka Shamase
Services
When an individual’s ability to work has been compromised by injury or negligence, the court requires an objective, evidence-based account of the impact on their earning capacity. We provide independent forensic assessments covering loss of earnings, loss of support, and career trajectory analysis — structured to provide clear actuarial instructions and defensible under cross-examination. All reports comply with SIOPSA Professional Practice Guidelines (2022).
Brief us on your matterSound people decisions — whether in selection, development, or leadership — require more than intuition. We administer and interpret a broad range of accredited psychometric tools to provide organisations with reliable, objective insight into cognitive ability, personality, emotional intelligence, and integrity. Each assessment is accompanied by a written report and, where required, individual feedback. All assessments are conducted in accordance with HPCSA ethical guidelines and the Employment Equity Act.
Enquire about assessmentsEmployee wellbeing is about more than keeping people healthy — it is about creating the conditions in which people can perform, engage, and sustain their contribution over time. Evidence consistently shows that structured wellbeing interventions reduce absenteeism, strengthen organisational culture, and improve productivity and team effectiveness. We work with organisations to assess psychosocial risk, support employees through stress, burnout, and workplace trauma, and design interventions that address both individual and systemic factors. If wellbeing is a concern in your organisation, we can help you build a response that is practical, evidence-based, and measurable.
